The big event this month was our incorporation as a Community Service Cooperative! This is something we’ve been working towards for most of the year so far so we’re all pretty stoked to have finally reached this milestone!
Other activities included
- prototyping some bed designs including the outer-cord-supported weaving method (which we found to be a bit too slow to construct),
- taking a guided tour of the Orca Rescue Society’s wonderful new community garden and meeting its founders,
- foraging for birch boletes, and
- learning about permaculture from Tayler from Hatchet & Seed (thanks again Tayler – this was really cool!)
